Group Training

We strive to be a resource for education and support to all pet owners who want the best possible relationship with their dog. Not every dog is going to benefit from a cookie cutter training style. Our programs are designed to be individualized to each dog, even while in a group setting. Our goal is to keep dogs in their homes without the threat of being surrendered to a shelter or rescue or being re-homed.

Our courses are designed to pave the way to an American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification while strengthening the relationship between dog and owner.

We have 3 levels of group training in a safe, controlled environment that mirrors the educational system for humans:

Please note, we do not offer in-home training for basic obedience.

In this course, we will help you:

  • Properly socialize your dog with people and other dogs.
  • Build effective communication skills by learning to:
  • Read and interpret your dog's body language and behavior, and
  • Respond to them at their level for that particular command, task, or situation.
  • Learn realistic management techniques in hopes of being proactive based on the information your dog is giving you.
  • Improve your bond with your dog.

Each class is 90 minutes long. We meet once per week for the first 3 weeks, take a 1 week break, then resume meeting once a week for the final 3 weeks. Currently, classes are held Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 5:30pm to 7pm and Friday at 12pm to 1:30pm.

Proof of up to date vaccinations for your pet must be received prior to the start of the first class. This will help us ensure the safety of all humans and pets in attendance.
